I shoot roller derbies at a local recreation centre, where the thing is lit by distant overhead fluorescent lights. Terrible light for sports photography. Typically, I shoot at ISO 10,000 or higher, in order to get my desired fast shutter speeds. To say that the images are "grainy" is an understatement, but I am learning to embrace to the poor quality raw files and just work with them as best I can.
