I'm no pro photographer. Photography is a sideline of my life as a science teacher. The iPhone (purchased late in 2012) and post-processing on the iPad have lit a fire for me. I've learned more about photography and image manipulation in particular over the past four years than in the previous twenty combined. I still shoot DSLR too, but that camera won't fit in my pocket.
Working on my own, I've used the fine work of others as inspiration to firstly go shoot and secondly try some creative things with the images I've snapped. From there, it has been simply play and risk-taking and perseverance.
