I'm part of a subgroup of folk at my camera club who are into abstract photography. This month, our challenge is to produce someting in the style of Kandinsky. I just couldn't get going using my iPad, so I decided to bite the bullet and learn some Photoshop skills. Thanks to what's on offer at kelbyone.com, I have some very useful new skills, which I used to make this image. Each circle is a separate image from my catalog, as are the two colour bars. Once I got a production line happening, this image seemed to almost make itself. It's a complete copy of one of Kandinsky's paintings, but that's not the point for me. What an absorbing evening. November, I think, was the last time it rained with conviction. Tonight's sky might be an indication of wet stuff to come this week. |
