Just before dawn at Bibra Lake skate park.

Perth is great for sunshine. And shadows, which usually mess up my skate park compositions. So in summer, when overcast days are rare, there is no choice but to be on site before the sun gets very high at all. Today, that meant 5.30am.

I haven’t been shooting skate parks for a while. The last few I got up early to shoot were rubbish from the air. I’m looking at you, Clarkson and Kingsbridge! So motivation - low. Bibra Lake has had a makeover and looks great from the sky. I’m back on the train.
